Area Youths finish in 2nd place at Glasgow Youths
Argyll & Bute's youth team of Craig Pirie, Scott Turnbull and Jack Mackirdy finished in 2nd place in the Glasgow Youth's team competition. This is the best finish ever by an area team in this event after many years of taking part. Craig & Scott both finished a highly credible 5th in the individual event with two round totals of 145. Following Bob MacIntyre's success in the junior tour event at Rowallan and a much improved performance in the boys area team championship at Hayston, hopefully Argyll & Bute stock on the rise at junior and youth level.
